How do I record a visit?

When you're at a place, open it in the app and check in. The app uses your location to confirm you're there. You can check in at each place once per day, and the visit counts toward your stats and the leaderboards.

Can I use the app without an account?

Yes. Oppdag Norge opens in guest mode with no sign-up required. As a guest you can browse places, view the map, and read leaderboards. To check in, save visits, or appear on the leaderboard you need to create an account. You can do so easily inside the app whenever you are ready.

How do I delete my account and data?

Go to Settings → Delete account in the app. All personal data and visit history associated with your account will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.

What does Pro cost, and how do I cancel?

Oppdag Norge offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features. The price is shown in the App Store or Google Play before purchase. The subscription renews automatically and is managed entirely through your store account:

• iPhone / iPad: iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• Android: Google Play app → Profile icon → Payments & subscriptions.

Frich Utvikling does not have access to your payment details and cannot process refunds directly — contact Apple or Google for refund requests.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Download map packs under Settings → Offline maps, so the map and place information are available without a connection. You can also record visits while offline – they sync automatically once you're back online.
